Blyth Cinema shows pictures each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8.00pm, Sunday pm and daily during school holidays. Before entering the theatre ensure you have purchased your munchies from the candy bar. By getting there early you will have the opportunity of catching some of Blyth’s history on the big screen.
Brooks Lookout is acclaimed for the stunning views over the Blyth plains and is a must for the photographer. Situated in the hills between the townships of Clare and Blyth. Please note the car park adjacent Brooks Lookout is closed during the fire season. Please take care if walking to the lookout during that time.
Matriarch and Rogue is based on five sisters who are the third generation of a long family history that goes back to the birth place of Ireland. The sisters are known as The ‘Patrick Byrne’ girls. the wines are a tribute to the strong women in my family and the mischievous Rogues they married.
Fruit is selected from individual vineyards in the Clare Valley that display purity and strength of flavour that is relevant to the personality of each matriarch. Each batch is treated with love and respect to enhance and nurture the characters of the wine.
“Lomandra Walking Trail” commences on the western side of the Blyth Golf Course and travels through hundreds of local plants. “Lomandra” is the botanical family name of the iron grass that grows on the golf course & the course is one of the few places in the Mid-North that has good examples of this native plant. The views from the eastern end of the walk are quite spectacular, especially in winter & spring. The trail is 2.2kms return & is mainly flat with a gentle uphill gradient to the turnaround point.
